FAQ's

What if I'm still employed?

We have members who are still employed - it's actually an ideal time to conduct your job search. Our members will value your confidentiality - it's one of our core tenets. One of the biggest issues we've seen members face with job searching while actively employed is the constant struggle of time management and staying on track with their search. We'd recommend either the Fire Starter or Phoenix levels, primarily because the built-in additional Accountability Huddles are game-changers for those still working.

How long does it take to land a job offer?

While there's no guarantee, our members have typically seen their job search duration reduced by months through this Community. Many executive job searches today are taking 9 - 12+ months, and members of our Community have consistently received offers in less than 6 months. There are no guarantees, and some members take longer. It depends on your industry, your specialization, and so many other factors.

Will I get personalized feedback on my resume, LinkedIn profile, and interview skills?

There are opportunities for personalized feedback at each level:

The Basics: Feedback here comes during group workshops and through community posts that our coaches respond to.

The Fire Starter: Feedback is more focused here, with Spotlight Coaching sessions and Accountability Huddles.

The Phoenix: This is the most personalized and customizable plan, with one-on-one sessions and personalized email support.

Additional one-on-one sessions are also available for purchase as part of The Basics and The Fire Starter plans.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

This is really based on how fast you want to progress. Think of the community offerings like a gym membership. We are there when you need us, with lots of offerings. We don't expect you to do ALL the classes and read ALL the resources. Use what you need for where you are at in your journey.

That being said, for most folks, if you aren't able to commit at least 1-2 hours per week to community events, forums, and networking with fellow members, then your pace will be slower in your job search.

What industries and functions do you focus on?

We support executives across multiple industries and functions, with most of our members working in the corporate or start-up worlds. The majority of our members are found in one of these functions, but everyone is welcome: Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, Communications, Product.

While we do have some members from the non-profit and government sectors, it's not our primary focus.

What if I get a job while I'm a member?

First off - congratulations! We'll celebrate together!

Each level comes with salary negotiation support for your offer, and this is a critical step in the process.

We also encourage members to stay with the Community even after they land their role to continue to stay ready and prepared for whatever's next. Members who have landed roles often still benefit from the networking prompts and guest speaker events, as well as meeting and supporting fellow members.
